ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK- DAY TRIP
OVERVIEW.
Arusha national park is located in Northern Tanzania, in Arusha region to be specific. It’s only less an hour to the park from the Arusha city. It’s the best park to visit especially for those with the little time to spend in the city.
The park is not crowded as other National parks, makes it more peaceful and enjoyable. The park is varied with fantastic landscapes in three distinct areas. In the west, The meru crater funnels the jekukumia River with the peak of mount meru lying on it’s rim. Ngurdoto crater in the southern is the grassland and The momela lakes in the northeast have various colours and are famous for their wading birds.
The park has spectacular wildlife such as Elephants, zebras, wildebeests, Antelopes, Giraffes, Hippos and monkeys while Leopards and hyaenas can occasionally be spotted.
The park is famous for birds and more than 574 known bird species can be found in the park. So, It’s the perfect place for bird lovers as well.
TOUR PLAN
Professional tour guide will pick you up from your hotel/pickup location at 7:30 am and Drive you to Arusha national park. You will have the chance to have a morning game drive which is great for animal viewing as many of the animals are hunting at that time before they go to hiding because of the sun later in the afternoon.You will have your picnic lunches within the park. After a short break you will resume your game drive until 02:00 pm and You will drive back to the city in your hotel/Drop off location. End of the Tour.
